Psalm 71 might be titled How to pray when in trouble. The key phrase in The Message translation is, “lord, get me out of this mess.” When I’m in trouble I run for dear life to God. I cry out to Him. I say, “do what you do so well; get me out of this mess and up on my feet. Lord, you have been my private cubby hole (hiding place) where no one can hurt me. From birth I have relied on you, and I have not been disappointed. So,here I am again! I have learned to trust you. Even though things look dim right now, I will not stop trusting you. You will give me victory over all my problems once again, just like before, and I’ll tell everyone how you did it again.  I’ll write songs about you and sing them to everyone. So…. do what you do so well; get me out of this mess and up on my feet so I can get on with telling everyone how wonderful You are.

So when in trouble just say, “Lord, do what you do so well; get me out of this mess and back up on my feet.”

You know what… HE WILL!!!
