Moses appoints Joshua to lead the nation into the promised land. He reminds them that there is yet a challenge before them. In order to occupy the land flowing with milk and honey they will have to face their opposition. I’ll bet it was on a Monday morning. As we begin another week, let me remind you of Moses’ instructions to the people from Chapter 31, verse 6:
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
