A great nourishing tidbit can be found in Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 and 6. Many Christians committ this promise to memory because of its great value in times of indecision. When you feel lost and confused take a bite out of this:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will direct your path.” The New King James Version.

Dwight L. Mooday wrote:
Trust in yourself and you are doomed to disappointment.
Trust in your friends and they will die and leave you.
Trust in money and you may have it taken away from you.
Trust in reputation and some slanderous tongues will blast it.
But trust in God and you are never to be confounded in time or in eternity.
